The staff did a super job answering questions. Hey....why pay more - it's basic accomodations - but a comfy mattress sure beats a fancy hotel lobby!"

The Melbourne House has been a hotel for 20 years. It is noted for its friendliness, but especially for its cleanliness, and has been recently refurbished.
The beautiful showers with bi-fold doors are of high standard, with very good soft water pressure.

They had a very small fan in the room but a larger one was needed to help with air circulation. The TV had no remote which would have been much more convenient. The breakfast was sufficient but very plain, cereal, toast, juice and coffee. It would have been nice to have had a bit of variety to the menu once in awhile. If I had know there was no blow dryer in the room I would have brought a small traveling one that I have. Overall we must say for the price and being in downtown London we thought it was a good experience."
