"The hotel was very near the train station which was useful and it was nice to be expected. The staff were very helpful and professional, pleasant and friendly, they actually seemed interested in me and were anxious to ensure my stay was a good experience. The facilities in the room were excellent although the contents of the mini fridege in the room were way above my budget!! The room was very hot until I found the thermostat to turn it down. Clean, comfortable, very spacious, loved the decor in the corridors!! gym facilities great!"

Some typical guests' reviews:
"Affordable, easy to find hotel with good access to transport links, as it is literally across the road from Kings cross station and underground, yet isolated enough down a side street so as not to be too noisy etc. I would certainly recommend this hotel to any people who are looking for nothing fancy, just an affordable base. It was perfect for my needs, and beat the local travel lodge/travel inns etc hands down on price."
"A clean hotel offering good value for money. I found it very conveniently placed for transport and only about 20 mins walk to the very centre."
"Overall great location and very quiet."
"Overall a great place to stay, just a few steps away from the Kings Cross rail and subway stations with easy access to central London. Great accomodations for the price, nice staff, clean and comfortable."
"It was my first time in London, so I had no idea what to expect. The room was small, but definitely suited my needs. The location was fine; right across the street from the tube station, so it was eay to get around the city. I forgot about the internet access! The 24-hour bar seemed really nicely set up though (With a HUGE television). The staff was extremely polite. The room was cleaned daily and fresh new towels were always provided."
"Very well satisfied. Ideal location for touring London. Would recommend the Crestfield to friends."
"This hotel is exactly what I would expect for such a low price. Excellent location for central London - over the road from Kings X. TV/tea&coffee making facilities/shower with hot water available at all times."
"The hotel is very basic but it is in such a good location next to the underground it more than makes up for it."
"Good services-price relation for London. Suitable location at King Cross near tube, buses and Thameslink trains to Luton and Gatwick. Good bathroom and excelent warm water. Very good and complete continental breakfask included in the price. Good WiFi internet services at the reception and some times at the room. It is a good idea to have all the necessary at the room to prepare tea and coffe."
"The hotel is recommended, most of all because the location (very close to KINGS CROSS tube station) is brilliant, but also because the price is very reasonable for a london hotel - the room is small (as usual), but ok and clean, the bathroom was ok too."
"They give the best value for money we have found."
"Me and my family stayed at Crestfield for three days. It was easy to book on internet and mail with confirmation was sent quickly. Nice welcome and very good service by the people in the reception. Check in went very quick. The rooms were small (but that we already know when we booked). Excellent cleaning. Had no lamps by the beds (wich I think is a must) and no shelfes in the bathroom to put things on. Breakfast was OK but nothing special. Almost everyone of the staff was very friendly and serviceminded. Checkout was easy and fast. Location so near Kings Cross was perfect."
"Nice small hotel, ideal for sightseeing in London. Friendly staff, luggage storage area for before and after the stay."
"Good value for money - the location is convenient, street parking is easy, the room is adequate."
"This is a clean and well kept hotel making travel very easy."
"Added bonuses were the 24 hr bar and outside terrace."
"I found this hotel easy to get to from King Cross and handy for getting in and out of london via the tube. Also I found that the rooms are clean and comfortable and have everything you need."
"Altogether, very good value for money. Everything is very basic, nothing special, but just right for someone just looking for a peaceful, clean place to stay and does not want to spend too much money on accommodation."

"The room was clean and the beds good. Silent, both internally and externally. The location is perfect, near the King´s Cross railway/underground station with almost all tube lines in London."
"I found the staff at the Arriva Hotel very friendly and helpful. The room was quiet and peaceful. There was nothing really to complain about. I was pleasently suprised at the Arriva Hotel. The room was basic but very nice. The small en-suite bathroom had perhaps not up to the minute fittings and fixtures, but was very pleasing and clean. The staff were very friendly, and there was a family atmosphere in the Hotel."
"The hotel is really good, in particular considering the price we paid. The rooms are clean with new furniture and fridge."
"No problems whatsoever. The rooms were very clean and ideal for our short stay. With the local tube station only a few minutes walk from the hotel it makes this an ideal hotel for sightseers and short-term visitors. I have already recommended Arriva to my friends and will be booking again when I have to visit London."
"The Arriva is a good hotel for the price. It is a no frills kind of place that one uses when one needs a place to sleep while doing lots of other things. We did not expect much as low budget travelers and they nicely provided all of the basics."
"It was to be here. Everything was like scheduled and there're a tv, a good (even if small) bathroom, a sink with a boiler and the breakfast was very good (the waiting was exellent). The price is very low considering the others hotel all around London. It's near King's Pancross station and well connected to the rest of the city."
